Shooting stars and satellites

Time is a flat circle, and my time on the carousel is due

Marfa, Mars and Mercury

Instagram likes bounced off satellites
Old photographs of dying light,

not even memories remain

I see the blue in the water of the rivers and streams

I look down at the people and their interstates
I’m landlocked here light years away
